A projekt célja új, környezetbarát biokompozitok fejlesztése lignocellulóz alapú biomassza felhasználásával. Ezen lignocellulóz alapú biomassza akár élelmiszerhulladékból is származhat, például kávézaccból is. Az előállított biokompozitok potenciálisan helyettesíthetik a fosszilis alapú műanyagokat, csökkentve a környezeti terhelést és elősegítve a fenntartható gazdaságot.
